Tusas

"Tusas" obverse side view in 440C high chromium stainless steel blade, hand-engraved carbon steel bolsters, Ruby in Zoisite gemstone handle, hand-tooled, bronze-washed leather sheath
"Tusas"

An elegant small knife named for the Tusas mountain range in north-central New Mexico, the Tusas has a slight trailing point blade, and a simple, clean handle. This Tusas has a hollow ground and mirror polished 440C high chromium stainless steel blade, fully fileworked in hand-engraved carbon steel bolsters, and beautiful gemstone handles of Ruby (yes real ruby) in Zoisite. The rubies are extremely hard, making this a very difficult handle to make and finish. The knife is sheathed in an open-view sheath that shows the knife's attributes with elegance, in hand-tooled leather that is washed with a bronze powder for a nice metallic sheen.

"Tusas" reverse side view. Bronzed sheath is beautiful and metallic, complimenting the colors of the knife handle "Tusas" spine view. Full filework covers the blade, handle, and inside handle to the choil "Tusas" sheathed view. "Display" type sheath allows view of knife handle and blade while protecting edge and point
